Happy New Year everyone! I spent my New Year's at work and praying to get out of KC before the nuts escaped. Almost made it, got stopped by a nut at a QT in a KC suburb. Everytime I make a trip into that town...I remember exactly why I'm so happy to be from Arkansas where folks are normal.
The Middle East will never be the same after you two get over there. Y'all be safe and wear your $%#@ "PPE" while out site seeing.
I turned 30 today, don't feel much different..still kickin, that's the important part.
Happy Birthday Joe Hope your 30th went/goes better than mine did. I sat on the side of the road for 4 hours with two flats waiting on a tire guy to show up so I could get up the hill and dump one of the machines on the trailer. Dang 16" 10-ply tires just couldn't hold up to the pressure.
Gosh, this chapter has been a little quite for the last couple of days! Guess everyone has been busy working, and enjoying the nice weather while it lasts.
That's the idea, was going to the Bay this weekend, but..... I've either got a 3 mile ride thru the bottoms or a short boat ride.... Brrrrr...... not in the snow
Hope you have better luck than I apparently am gonna have. Just got new tires on the Jeep and was hoping for some snow to try 'em out. Doesn't look like we're supposed to even see a flake in Stone County.
Looks like we're in the bullseye this time, forecast is for 5-6 inches. As long as it goes away quick, I'll be satisfied.
The weather-guessers still have snow in the forecast for FSM...but they've dropped it to 50% for Sunday and down to 40% for Monday. My wife is not happy about that, she's got to head to Mena Monday morning for work. I maybe driving home from Carnage Misery in the snow; the Michelins stayed hooked up the last time...so I'm looking forward to showing the Z71 & Dodge boys that you can get down the road with a 2WD while their 4WD are all over the road.
It's not what you've got under the hood or how many axles are powered...it's how you put it to the pavement. Wonder if I go wash & wax the Princess if it will get 3 feet deep?
What an interesting "commute" home from work. Watched two different guys turn their 1/2 trucks into Jersey barrier darts. And some clown with a Civic thought he was unstoppable with his front wheel drive...until the ABF truck ahead of him stopped & he didn't.
Guess I get to try those new tires in the snow after all. Too bad it'll be on the way to work and not just playing around in the woods. Got 2-4" up here last night.
