Going to yard sales today with mine, only problem everyone wants to buy grandads truck from me! I do get good discounts when they see the fine paint job.

Thanks, John; much appreciated. The r&p steering makes sense. In a bunch of previous posts the stock steering box is apparently the problem. I'm still waiting for Sanderson to come out with a header for the FE into a 48-52. Of course, I could get off my well-padded butt and learn how to fabricate something myself!

Mike.. On my '47 I thought that too. Ended up with Sanderson block huggers (although I have a BBC, which is REALLY shoehorned in there.

But the block huggers solved all my "fit" problems.

Thanks, John. Nice build by the way. Definitely gives me something to think about. BTW, I've left a request at Sanderson for a header specific to putting an FE into a 48-52...never hurts to ask!
