Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
And never brought to mind?
Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
And auld lang syne?
Chorus:
For auld lang syne, my dear,
For auld lang syne.
We'll take a cup o' kindness yet,
For auld lang syne.
And surely ye'll be your pint-stowp!
And surely I'll be mine!
And we'll take a cup o' kindness yet,
for auld lang syne.
We twa hae run about the braes
And pou'd the gowans fine.
We've wandered mony a weary foot,
Sin' auld lang syne.
We twa hae sported i' the burn,
From morning sun till dine,
But seas between us braid hae roared
Sin' auld lang syne.
And ther's a hand, my trusty friend,
And gie's a hand o' thine;
We'll tak' a right good willie-waught,,
For auld lang syne.

As much as I'd love to spend money on my truck putting bigger tires and a lift kit on it, as well as some other improvements, I'm forcing myself to hold back and keep a tight rein on the budget. My priority this year is to build a new house. I've been living in a double-wide manufactured home (with a 24X36 detached shop) on my 1.3 acres for 8 years now. I bought this place with the intention of having the manufactured home hauled away and building a nice house on this lot. Now I'm finally in a position to get serious about it. So, my truck will be on the back burner for now. The new house will have an attached garage, which will make the detached shop more of a real shop. Depending on what kind of financing I can get, I might even tear down the shop and build a bigger one.
I think I will still enter my truck in the "all Ford show" at the XXX Root Beer Drive In in Issaquah this September. Maybe I'll enter it in a few other shows, too.
So what kind of plans do you have for 2011?
