Kelly Safari TSR

Kelly Safari TSR
I am still researching tires (trying to save as much$$$ as possible). Came across the Kelly Safari TSR. They are $200 cheaper than the Silent Armours I was planning on getting again. Has anyone used the Kelley tires, and how do thay work on the heavier trucks, I have heard the Dura Tracs (which are very similar to the TSRs) have a wandering problem on heavier trucks. I am concerned the TSRs may have the same problem, any input would be great, thanks!

I got them intalled on my truck the day after the lift was done... They look IMHO GREAT. I have the 35's and they are E rated. Road noise is more than acceptable on the freeway and handle great on dry roads. I thought Rain might be an issue, but they honestly handle so welll that I forget they are an aggressive thread.
Now that we have had 25+inches of snow ( and if anyone has a television has heard about the city never having plowed the streets here in NY ) I was able to put her in 4x4 and it just goes over anything I point to.
So far have about 5k miles on them and they are holding up great ! No uneven wear etc...
I don't typically tow with this truck , so I can't say for how they are with 8K lbs, but as my DD on the freeway 20+ miles each way they handle fine. I've had the truck in NJ doing 75-80 and they handle just as well ...
I would suggest that anyone looking for wheels seriously consider these ... Good Luck
btw -- they look sick on a lifted truck

That is a nice looking rig! Thanks for the input. I did a google search on the tires and all the other forum reviews were pretty much like yours. My only concern was none of the reviews were on a large truck like ours. Glad to hear they are up to the task. I see you have the blackwalls, do yours have the white letters turned in? If so, did the white letters look ok or do they look kind of cheezy? Thanks again for the reply

Mine are black lettering - so no white in either side. I put mine on within 24hrs of doing the lift - so I can't say I have an unbiased review since I changed slot more with the added height. That being said my truck feels fine with them - you just have to understand that these are much more aggressive threa than a typical all weather/freeway tire. You can 'feel' the difference in it .... Good luck either way
