Vegetable Oil burners in here?

A close friend of mine has had a Vegistroke kit on his Excursion and has accumulated over 30k miles on vegetable oil. Anybody in here using veggy oil to power their PSD?

its so hard to come by used veggie oil. i didnt even know anyone gave it away free anymore. I want to do the bio diesel thing but free feed stock is non existent around here. was talking to a guy with a bio powered stroker at the gas station the other day he said he makes it his self. saves $6k a year on fuel.

Thanks guys. I was hoping to talk with some WVO users from Michigan in our forum. I am hoping to get some local assistance on an installation, and possibly even hook up with someone already filtering WVO as the time to do this is is not on my side. I drive 110 miles round trip daily and I could easily justify the cost of the kit to install on my 7.3 PSD.

I heard on one of the "greaser" websites that there is someone in the Livonia area that is into this and is a PSD driver. Let me know if you know of anyone...

the Bio guys on FTE are really rude IMO.

TJBeggs has a put together a nice fuel lab to make his. He's the only michigan member i know of that makes bio.

WVO is great if you can get it, but so many people making their own nowadays that it's a cutthroat market to get it.
