The fuel bowl leak is usually just a couple orings in the drain valve, the valve cover harnesses are pretty easy just a little time consuming. Not sure about the temp sensor but you would have more problems if your truck is actually running at 258°. Could be just a bad sensor. Hopefully others will chime in

PSD doesn't use coolant temp to run , It uses oil temp for fueling . If it is the oil temp sensor they are talking about , I would replace it ...

The oil temp sensor deal I wasn't aware of (not that thats unusual). Thanks Rick!

OP if your going to do this yourself or not. Replace both UVCH harnesses and whatever else looks shaky. Get an o ring kit and hoses for the bowl from dieselorings.com. Also order Ford part number F6TZ-9150-BA (seal kit) from partsguyed.com. You won't use the o rings in the Ford kit but the FPR filter and new snap ring are a good thing to replace if the bowl is out. Might save your fuel pump if its not leaking or failing already.
