December Chat / All Topic Thread

One of my personal "mental disabilities" is keeping me from posting in last month's thread. I hear the first step to recovery is admitting to the problem....

With all that said, welcome to December folks.

Poor guy, got to go back to work...you should contact your Congressman/woman about that...it's unconstitutional.

Hey Zack, you might have a point. I have a fairly common disease, called "don't wanna" as in I don't wanna go home and go back to work. Wonder if I can get into some of those gov programs to get $$$ so I can keep traveling

Maybe, if your thinking about the same ones I am...you can travel until your heart's content. Though knowing how to swim is a plus....US NAVY. I hear you get to see the world!

Hey Joe, have you taken your kids to see MegaMind? The girls have a Brownie meeting so we're having a boys night out and I was thinking about taking Mini-Me to see it. Looks funny, but was curious if anyone else has seen/suffered through it with their kids.

The Navy ain't all bad. My kid just got orders to Japan. He's gonna be on the George Washington, which is based in Yokosuka. He and his wife get to live there for 3 years. Not a bad gig for a young newlywed couple.

The only movie we've suffered through at the theater with the girls was Cats & Dogs 2. The girls did pretty good, better than me actually.. That was terrible
