04 F350 No Start
Ok lets start
Checked all the connections under the hood and bought connection cleaner and still no start!
Unplugged sensor on passenger side.....no start
Unplugged sensor driver side that connects to exhaust....no start
Had both unplugged no start.
Checked batteries from when it quit and one was bad. replaced it ...... no start
Got the starter checked it is good ..... no start
All sounds that it made before it started under the hood are normal..... no start
RPM gauge never moves at all.............no start
I do have an oil leak that is dropping on the front axle dead center but dont see were it comes from.
Please help with any ideas of what to do next????????
Would anything dealing with glow plugs keep the truck from starting?
Have tired while cold and while its warm and it still don't START
If you are able to fix in the Wilmington area PM me so we can talk

The oil filter housing will not fill up with key on engine off. Pull the fuel filter cap and see if its filling up while cycling the key. Sounds like you may have a oil pressure problem, weather it be low side of high side. If the lpop isnt supplying oil to the hpop it will not fire the injectors to start. I would look closly to find your oil leak and go from there.

PUT THE EITHER AWAY, in the trash can!!!!!! It has NO BUSINESS BEING ANYWHERE, I REPEAT ANYWHERE NEAR A MODERN DIESEL!!!!!!!! unless you want bent push rods, broken rockers and bridges etc etc or worse. U know how much either it takes to make it through the turbo, CAC pipes and CAC itself? WAY TOO MUCH!
His filter bowl is filling up with fuel so I highly doubt a lift pump is the problem. I strongly feel like he has a HPO problem.

Thanks for advise silvercrew. I have my air box off were I can see the turbo and that was confusing trying to figure out how in the world the either would get the truck running so I ruled it out of the question anyway. I did check to see if fuel is making it to the top of the motor with help from my son and the answer is yes its flowing!
I am thinking about having it towed to the local diesel shop and getting them to update my software and have them tell me what there high dollar computer says. What do you think???

Well I have not followed your other thread in the 6.0 sectionvery closly, but did you ever get a way to monitor ICP pressure? A scangauge will do it, autoenginuity or even a OTC genysys (or mac mentor or matco) if you can get your hands on one of those and look at ICP pressure it would be a big step. A generic autozone scanner will not read it, it will take something that will read all the enhanced PIDS.
