Its a start

I am just cleaning up the rust and rattle caning it for now to give it some protection and keep it from getting worse. Rustoleum primer with an inexpensive flat black paint over the top.

thanks, still have a long way to go. went over to try and find the second engine today that my uncle had for it. I did find it but in many pieces, apparently he was going to rebuild it.

That truck doesn't look too bad from here. The black will help you envision the final product better. I see you've also been knocking off 60 years of dirt and debris from the frame. I can't tell you how many times I've swept up this kind of stuff under my truck. It only seems to take about 5 minutes to come up with a sizable pile of dirt and rust!
