P/N for E-Brake Cable -1966 F100 SWB F100 4x4 352

ND or others, I believe I have the right P/N for the 2853 E-Brake cable from the cab to the rear of the truck (C6TZ-2853-B) it is about 85-86" long......do you guys know of any availability for this part? Thanks, m.

Here's a 5.5 year old thread where ND gives some advise.

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/8...-f100-4x4.html

What I'm curious about is why they don't list anything different for 115" versus 129" wheelbase for the 1966 F100 4x4. It doesn't seem like your short wheelbase would use the same cables as the long wheelbase like Ferari, for example, as seen here.

Same front makes sense, but seems like backs would be different at least.

Roy, how much to have your cables made there? Did you have them make front and both rears? Did you have to send them your originals?

The front cable for my F250 2x4 Camper Special Ranger is still available NOS, but the rears are one year only and unique to the 12" x 2.5" BX brakes that were on the Camper Special or H/D brakes option. I thought I was going to have to get some made but then an NOS set showed up on eBay. Different left/right but guy in Canada had an original set.

But, I'll probably have to get some made for one of the other trucks in the future.
