Do you have the front axle? If so, can you tell me some info on it? Dana 60? Disc brakes? Hyd. assist steering? Open knuckle?

 

Whiskey6 - The '75 SC is complete (xcept for the engine) 2wheel drive. Dana 60 rear with open 4.10 rear. Newer front clip. Was running like a striped ape till my EX-son-in law ran it out of oil < reason the engine is out] ...Was planniing on rebuilding a (donor) 390 bored 30 over & 360 pistons & RV cam. Have the extra parts listed for a bit MORE power - then changing the open 4.10 diff to a 3.75 LSD for Hiway mileage / POWER thru the 435 trans. Ran out of funds/time to finish. Has the HD brakes (factory) Power steering has been installed. Would prefer to sell the whole vehicle, not scrap it - have a tractor to push it onto a trailer - or could be towed. 8 x 6 1/2 x 16 rims.

 

How much for the whole thing? Hows the body?

 

Body is fair. Surface rust on the cab. Newer front clip < fenders/grille/bumper/ guards (4). Bed rough - I planned on replacing it w/ a '78-'79. HD brakes - carpeted bed liner = was used as a mini-motorhome cracked dash pad - "2" pool ball shift ****. As mentioned basket case 390 engine / block, pistons,cam,crank,etc mounted on an engine stand can be built into a whoppin' 390-4V /headers, etc. Will take $500 for all - U Haul or tow.
If needed, can assist loadfing on a trailer = have tractor/pusher.

Mav....... LWB = Long Wide Box. < a full sheet of plywood weill fit - with the tailgate closed.

i saw your location in Unicoi county Tennessee, what part are you located in?

 

Mav - I'm about 1/2 way between Johnson City, TN and Unicoi, TN. "Google" will give you an aerial view of the house / barn, etc. as well as directions. We're 200' above Roan/Unicoi Hwy with a great view. Come get the truck & take in some clean mountain air < even if it IS frozen at the moment. The lower lanels behind the doors have rust damage. The rest of the cab has minor surface rust.

 

awesome. gotta love that mountain air huh? i live about an hour from Bristol and where im at. its an awesome view. i was just wonderin because my papaw has a trailer court in hampton Tn. which if im right is in Unicoi County?

 

Mav'78 - If you know where the gun range on Scioto is, I'm "just over the top" to the northwest. I frequently hear the activity there. < I don't use it = my neighbors have 'facilities'. Their 200 yd target is 125 yards from my front yard + there is a pistol range w/ steel targets. Years ago I built a portable shooting bench for them. My house has been designated as the 4th of July and the New Years house. >< It hurts so bad - my neighbors bring me "BANG-STUFF". >< Cherokee Nat'l Forest is about 250 yards East.
