Stalls in reverse sometimes.... only happens when cold!!!

Alright so once again, the cold hits and my truck starts stalling in reverse again. It doesnt do it all of the time, but once in a while ill put my truck in reverse and the truck with shutter, sometimes the rpms will kick back up and the truck will remain running, but other times the truck will die after the shuttering.... any ideas???

Mine use to do that. The dealer service manager said it was normal
It hasn't done it since trans rebuild and new torque
Normally I could take it out of reverse and put it back in and it would be fine

Yeah thats i normally do if i catch it early enough, if i dont catch it it will stall, but if i am able to get it out of reverse early enough it will kick back up to normal rpm.

Hey Matt. I would call Brian at BTS. He should be able to tell you if there is something wrong. Hard to believe this is normal. Have you checked for codes?

The lock-up torque converter is locking up when it shouldn't, that kills the engine, It is usually caused by unwanted crossflow of fluid to the lock-up converter fluid circuit either in the pump, shaft seals, valve body, usually worse in cold weather.
