Choke Part II

So I tried adjusting the automatic choke and it's fast idle linkage to no avail. Finally ordered a manual replacement and switched. The original choke cable was still in the truck. I knew the bakelite house was cracked on the automatic choke, but the fast idle cam was bent, obviously dropped at one time! Got the manual choke on and adjusted and it fired right up. Set the fast idle screw and got to say, the manual choke is the bomb!

Yeah, I like my manual choke. Two pumps on the gas, pull the choke, and fire 'er up with a mighty roar.

I only wish there was a light to remind me to turn the thing off!
