I'm afraid you will not want to do it when I tell you. Got them from Clay for $735. I was really pissed off when I ordered them because I couldn't get my up pipes to quit leaking. Sorry to break the bad news to you. They are hard to find also.

They were easy to put on. The only difference was that when you put the turbo in there the pedestal doesn't line up very good. I was concerned about moving the pedestal around and dislocating the O rings. I had to have the manifold bolts on with the bolts barely started to leave enough slack up top. I then got one pedestal bolt started, the front passenger side bolt, then I had to pry the pedestal back to line up the front drivers side bolt. This prying would flex the bellows then the back ones were lined up. Then it was just a matter of tightening all the bolts down. The best part at this point you don't have to reach behind the turbo and tighten the gaskets like stock ones!

Jason, LOL, no midget was needed. The drivers side is the hardest to get at but of course you know that. I really don't think the temp outside makes a difference, maybe just a little.

Travis, no I haven't tried that yet and your so right, I'm glad that's over with. I'll have to go for a run without H2O. I tried today to fix that oil dipstick leak, what a poor design!

Good one Travis, After reading about the involved procedure with that O ring I took the easy way out. I removed the started, tightened it up with channel locks, cleaned the heck out of that area, sprayed it with brake cleaner and JB welded it. After that dried I put a layer of goop over it. It should last awhile. If it doesn't I'll get the welder out, LOL

Travis, I turned off the coolingmist and made a WOT run until it started defueling and I was up to 1,400*. Turned it back on and did the same and it was at 1,200*. Before the bellow install it would go to 1,500* or 1,600*! In a few weeks I'll take my 5er with me and report back the results. What drives these speedo's, if it was gear driven mine would be broken, LOL. I remember your post about your GPS at 120MPH??

If you gained 200* (or lost, whatever) from the water that is pretty darn good I would say. Definitely sounds worth it Glenn.

I'm happy Darin but (there is always a but) the price is way to high. Its basically a RV pump, plastic water lines, a controller and wires. I don't know, I have mixed thoughts. Last summer in the camper my water pump was getting real weak so I called a discount RV supplier and told the guy I wanted the biggest and baddest pump he had. It was $160 and I don't know what the controller would cost so maybe its not all that out of line for the coolingmist. I can take a great shower now in my camper, LOL.

Picture turned out blurry but the coolingmist injector is on the left under the map line.

I'm surprised all you can get is 35psi with that d66 and the big injectors.

Jealous of your new mods though.

Bellowed up pipes supposed to heat up and bend into a more perm position as well.
Might wanna check the bolts after a few runs glenn.

35psi is more than enough for around a 140cc injector with stock nozzles... Not sure why you would ever need any more for that size injector..

I'm glad you finally got your EGTs under control though. Just make sure you let the truck idle for awhile after running the water before shutting the engine down to prevent water being in the cylinders when you try to restart your truck

I'd say 35psi is great. I see about 32psi with my 160cc Stage I's and stock turbo... Plus you don't want to run the D66 much over 35psi anyways. I'd say you're about perfect.
