Clutch and Brake Bracket.

I have made this repair in a 81 ford f-100. I found one in a 85 f-150, I had to change my pedal assembly over to it because the 85 was hydralic clutch, but the bracket will accept other pedal assembly parts. my other problems are hole is really worn out where the mechanical rod goes in and the rod itself is almost wore in to. the other problem I have is the equalizing bar on my truck has bad wear on pivot bushings and pivot post which attaches to block on L-6 engine and on frame mount on other side of equalizer bar the problem is parts books I have found show same plastic bushings for both sides, and the one on the frame mount side is a larger ball shaped post and ones for engine side will not fit. do you know whear i can find these bushings?

LMC do have replacement bushes, & also some of the linkage parts - but IDK if they are a match for your unequal bushes

My brake/clutch bracket just recently broke (this mid June). Kept on hearing this cracking sound. Thought it was the pressure plate going or something in that area, but it turned out to be this dam p.o.s. weak looking bracket that looked like it was made out of the same material that my old slot cars (chassis) were made from. And now to try and locate one (that isn't cracked).

These are repairable if the damage isn't too bad, or you have no replacement - I welded up a cracked one today for my own use in a conversion.......& a small crack in the bellhousing too, from the same donor truck.
Both are pretty delicate castings - OK if nothing rough happens to them.
I think the pedal bracket damage might be caused (partly anyway) by people climbing into the cab over the years, using the steering wheel to heave up on.

Glad you found one.
Rare as hen's teeth, in any kind of decent shape.
