2008 Ford F-350 SD Crew Cab with 8' Fisher Plow

Has anyone run into the problem with diminished cab heat as well as outside temp gauge going above 100 F , when plowing and traveling with the Fisher plow? This has happened to me in the past with a Curtis plow but I thought with a Fisher these problems might go away. I guess not.

Your plow is blocking the factory outside temperature sensor from air flow and causes the automatic climate control to not work properly. There is a TSB 08-14-4 to fix this. It relocates the temperature sensor to another location that is not blocked by the plow. The part # is 8C3Z-14A411-C. This may be covered if still under factory warranty. Otherwise the kit comes with instructions.

Thanks...

This was confirmed by Ford. I now need to battle them to do the work or I will just doo it myself.

Thanks again.

No problem. The part is $58.24 retail so if you have to do it yourself, it is not too expensive.

The kit moves the sensor from the grill area to the bumper area.

In the interim, use manual settings for heat.
