Okay, the Snowbunny is out of town. Lets get some banter going so she will have something to read once she returns to the world of the Internet and cell phones.
I got the chainsaw running last night (finally!). After all the parts I've got into it, it's practically brand new. All new top end (Big bore jug & piston, wrist pin/bearing) and new carb. She started first pull! ******** width="320" height="240" ><param name="allowfullscreen" value="true" /><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always" /><param name="movie" value="http://www.facebook.com/v/185343874811465" /><embed src="http://www.facebook.com/v/185343874811465" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="320" height="240"></embed>*********>
Was taking out a snag today and got the bar pinched... used the axe to break off the rest of the branch that was hanging it up... and ruined the bar FML. Put a nice gouge in the bar groove. I'd try using a rail closer, but I don't have one, so I guess either it's time to make a deal with the devil to get a new bar, or beg/borrow/steal a rail closer. Ugh, I swear I can never get 2 solid hours of use out of that thing! Oh well.

What kinda a saw you got...? Kinda reminded me of a guy that took his new saw back to the store since he was only able to cut one cord a wood a day and not the 6 cords the salesman promised. The sales started up the saw and the customer jumped back in surprise saying, what the heck is that (referring to the noise of the saw running). Guess the customer did not realize to start the saw to cut the wood. (suppose to be a joke).

I got a Stihl MS361 and love it...
It's a Husqvarna 372xp. 32" bar, and the big boy timber dogs.
My buddy has a 044 Magnum - it's a cutting machine!
Haven't brought anything down since I got the Husky together, but it can feel it's got way more power with the new top end. It picks the bar up about 2 inches when you wick on it - gives me goosebumps.
The version I heard of that joke called it a swedish bucksaw or something. It's been a while since I heard it :P

Welcome back Snowbunny, I tried to get the pot to boil over but I failed miserably. Guess I am the one you need to keep an eye on...
