$3.85 for 87 in Peoria, down from $3.89.
$4.15 for diesel.
The last several times I have visited my cousin in Peoria (end of Knoxville around Pioneer Parkway area) I've noticed diesel is usually around .20-.30 more per gallon compared to B-town. Not sure why, but I always make sure I have over 1/3 tank before heading that way
It's like an organized union, all Peoria stations raise prices at the same time to the same amount. Only the stations within the city are doing this. West Peo. Peo Hgts. East Peo. and outlying areas are not in the click. I buy fuel outside of Peoria only after checking Gas Buddy .com first.
You are so right Scott. Way back when I was a teenager driving around town in a 64 Ford with a 390 getting 8, 9,and 10 MPG and not thinking anything about it. Of coarse gas was only 17 cents a gal. 45 years later we're paying 24 times more than back then. It just makes sick thinking about it.
