Y-pipe 7.3 vs. 6.9

on the market for a new y-pipe and noticed on google shopping that rockauto.com had a 6.9 y-pipe for around 85 bucks. but then a few pages later it had a y-pipe for an 88 7.3l for 55 bucks. its my understanding most of the parts are interchangeable for these engines (my engine is an 87 in an 85 truck). so does that mean i can save 30 by getting the 7.3 pipe. or will it not fit for some reason?

ok screw that the shipping from them is $76, i paid less to ship a radiator core support a few weeks ago. that is just plain rediculous I'll pay the 100 bucks at advanced or autozone instead

you can always click on the persons name and go to "view public profile" and leave a message for someone there or click "send private message" and do it that way

Does the rock auto or autozone one have better bends in it then the factory one? I've heard that's one of the restrictive points on the oem pipes
