2011 F-350 DRW limits you to only a 3.73 axle (with or with out limited slip)

The factory full color brochure lists 20,300 on the spec page

The 10/01/10 “major product change” lists 22,600, a 2300 pound increase. That was supposedly due to a frame change in mid August.

The Super Duty “Owners Guide” lists 19,500 with a 3.73, which I assume is a gas engine.
The Power Stroke owners guide supplement doesn’t even list a 5th wheel towing, only a GCWR of 30,000.

2011 Ford Towing guide 21,300

All of the “visual” advertising is misleading –“up to 24,500 5th wheel. The rating is only for the F-450.

Even the new Ford 2011 Towing Guide you have to search to find that F series towing at 24,400 is a 450.

21,700 2011 2011 Ford Super Duty | View Towing Specifications | Ford.com

What is it??????????????

How about the receiver hitch?
I have found ratings form 16,000 to 17,500.

The 13300 gvwr models should have a 30000 gcwr, where the 13000 gvwr models should have a 29000 gcwr. Subtract the loaded truck weight from the gcwr to get the trailer tow rating. Depending on truck model and options, the trailer tow rating will vary by quite a bit. 30000-8300 (rough empty crew cab drw weight) leaves 21700 for a trailer. Super cabs and regular cabs are lighter leaving more weight for the trailer. Don't forget, every pound you load in the truck lowers the trailer tow capacity.
