installtion, v10 into '55

Have '99 F350 and automatic. Want to put it into a '55. Does anybody know of an aftermarket wiring harness for just running engine and transmission so I can keep the '55 wiring harness?

installtion, v10 into '55

Well all you v10 fans, what I'm lacking in, is the wiring knowledge of what I can delete in that harness so I can have a turn key engine. That way I can keep the 55 wiring harness for lights, heater, etc.. That way the truck is all original except for engine and tranny. Can anyone help? There's got to be a wiring Guru out there somewhere. Yes I will keep you all informed of where I am with the project. Right now I have motor and tranny on floor with what I have left of the wiring harness. I'm picking up after someone else's speghetti problem.
I'm not sure if I have all the correct wires still on the harness. I have had the motor running since it's been here. I can't get all the gears to shift but I know the tranny is good. So I know there is wiring gone wrong somewhere. Thanks for all your help guys!
Froggies out.

Maybe you can track down someone who has done a similar conversion. Check out these links and maybe e-mail the guys to see if they will help with your project.

Theres a guy with a v-10 mustang somewhere on the web .My son showed it to me ! he's into mustangs.when he comes home from college today I'll ask for the site and post it .

It would have been easier with a standard tranny
though .

Do you have the pcm from the original truck?
your going to need it for sure!
