Request: Pics of Single Din in Double Din slot
I haven't really looked at car stereo stuff since I got rid of my mustang. Now I'm looking to upgrade the radio on my 2010 F250. I'm debating between a high quality single din unit or a double din with navigation. My issue with the single din is often the install kits come with a horribly cheap looking blank plate to center it. I hate the way the cheap plastic looks and that would probably keep me from doing a single din. I was just wondering if someone has some pictures of a high quality single din install in our trucks.

Not in my truck but I have put 2 in the Windstar. They've gotten away from "plate" look and now mostly have a little pocket either over or under the stereo unit. You can stick CD's in there or whatever.
I'm not sure about adapter kits for the '10 though. You may want to scoot over to Crutchfield and "outfit" your truck. You'll be able to see what will or won't work.
Personally I'd go DD with navigation. It'll be a cleaner install and the right nav screens are nice!
