UNDER CARRAGE OIL SPRAYS

Winter is coming and i see so many good looking fords out there but a closer look and theres the rust on most farily young trucks. My 2003 f250 shows slight signs under the bed and in back of the bumper, I just bought this truck and would like to start a good treatment for rust prevention. I have let loose with 2 cans of PB on truck mounts and all steering connections shocks and anything that looks rusty (no where near the brakes but at $3.50 a can anyone use a differant method. (gallon of wd40 in a sprayer) or know of any good places that do this ( love hate thing can't for alittle snow to play in)

nhtrax, sorry for the late reply.

I have heard of using ATF to undercoat. I don't think it's that "environmentally friendly" and I don't know any shop that does it. Just heard from a few people in passing. I don't even know how well it works.

I also don't know of any undercoating places either.

I bought my Ranger in July of 07 and with 20 miles on the odometer the drive shaft was covered in a thin coat of surface rust. The frame is starting to show rust through the factory undercoating as well. It now has about 37K on it and more rust than should be on my 3 year old truck. But it's all under on the frame and suspension. The paint shows no signs of rust thankfully.

R&R as in R&R Wholesalers in Hooksett?

That place is cool and definitely a guys store. The tools are on the cheaper side but usually have what your looking for to get a project done.

Good to hear you found an option and are making headway.
