Just gotta say I love this truck

Well, its been about a month and a half (or so) since I got my 2008 V10 CC 4x4. It replaced my 160K mile 1989 Dodge 360 single cab 4x4. And I am 100% in love with this rig. What a smooth, powerful, refined ride she is. Had an issue with the gas mileage at first, and I seriously regretted getting it. But I soon found out my calipers were hanging up. Fixed under warranty, mileage went up a TON, and I haven't looked back since.

These trucks are pure bad ****!!! I just hope my wife isn't jealous of it.....

X2...5 star just perks these trucks right up. If you feel that slight hesitation when stepping on it it's gone. Only problem is the pain from the BSEG.

Also nice truck.

Love of the V10

My favorite part of the v10 is that it has never gone back to the dealer for anything. It also does everything asked of it.

You guys answered my questions already, I would like to get more power out of my 5.4 L V8 and was thinking of swapping to a 6.8 V10 ! I Have a 2000 F250 super duty, great truck until the motor seized up at 62000k ? So now I'm gonna look for a replacement 5.4L or go to the 6.8 L V10

KellyfromVA is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
I've owned my 2010 F350 V10 with a ZF6 manual for about a week now. I was fortunate to find the truck with only 31K miles. What a fantastic rig!

My front passenger side caliper was hanging up too. MPG went from sub 9 to 11.5 combined driving. BSEG!

ZF6

Keep that V10 with the Manuel ZF6. My uncle has that Configuration and he gets 16 mpg. Mine does NOT get anywhere near that but he does, and I have verified it long trips in that rig. I get 10 mpg sometimes 9

What are you getting in the MPG department with the Manuel ZF6?

I haven't towed or carried much of a load yet, but two days ago my wife took it to work 42 miles each way from Stafford to Manassas VA and back. She was averaging 15MPG mixed 65MPH freeway plus stop lights and 30MPH roads. Not bad really. I'm assuming the manual transmission may save 2-3MPG over the automatic.

thanks Wes
