If anyone needs a good PCM for their '94-'97 7.3 litre diesel,
I am selling one of mine that is now a spare.
I had it flashed by DP-Tuner.

check it out here....

I wouldn't mind having a spare. How would a TW chip act with it? I just sent it in for a reburn. Also, is it for a auto. From the picture it looks like different code then mine, mine is NAW4.

Glenn, I think the chip will override any programming on the pcm.

Kevin, how come you're selling it now that you programmed it?

Is this an auto tranny or manual?

My brother needs a good PCM for a 5-speed. Doesn't have to be flashed or anything just a good stock one.
If you guys know where one is let me know. He would appreciate it.

TDE1 comes back as a single shot auto PCM.

Hi Ford 427,
I am selling it because when I originally bought the truck, i did not know that it already had a chip in it. So, I had bought a hypertech and hooked it up. It reflashed my chip from banks that was already on it. so, I bought another pcm for the truck and sent it in to DP-tuner to have it flashed to the econo 80 hp. Well when I got it back, and put it in, this pcm made the truck haul ***, but it was not getting the 16mpg around town that i use to get with the other pcm and banks chip in it. so, I sent my other pcm and the banks chip back to banks and they reflashed it all for me. Now my truck gets the 16mpg around town that I wanted to get back to.
so, I don't need this pcm. It is a nice one. The truck does 0-60 in about 7-8 seconds with it in. Really fast.

Most of these style trucks came with single shot AA code injectors in them. The late 96 and 97 CA emissions model trucks came with split shot AB code injectors in them. The split shots are supposed to reduce emissions. Because there is a small pilot shot before the main injection shot (hence the name split shot) there is different computer programming required for split shot injectors vs. single shot injectors. Knowing that you were in CA I was curious if this PCM was for split or single shot injectors, it looks to be for single shot injectors based on the TDE1 code on the connector.
