Common leaks?

Ok my first leak is at the bottom of the radiator there are 2 fittings that have about a 3/8 inch hose connecting them to each other the fittings are leaking anyone else truck like this kinda wonder why a hose just connects 2 fittings on the bottom of the radiator??

The other leak is some flexible fuel lines on the drivers side of the truck it leaks at what appears to be a quick connect fitting probably thinking it's gonna take new hoses to fix and what is the thing under the exhaust they go to???

Sounds to me like someone bypassed the trans cooler that is in the radiator. Are the metal lines that come off the trans still there? If they are, are they going up to rubber lines that go around the radiator to the front of the radiator? If so, I hope there is a big cooler up there instead of the tiny stock cooler. If the hose that's leaking just goes from one fitting to another then I wouldn't worry about that leak, maybe just tighten them up.

Sounds like the truck has electric fuel on it and they put the fuel regular under there for some reason or another. Get a new line I guess. I have my fuel regular over on the fender.

So a tranny cooler taps into the radiator?

From the factory it runs through the radiator then thru the trans cooler. I was kinda wondering that when I read this last nite and that's what Glenn says. Is it tranny fluid dripping?

Like Darin said, thru the radiator (water cools the fluid) to the cooler up front (air cools the fluid) then back to the trans.

Now I'm curious why it's bypassed how common is it for the cooling part in the radiator to leak antifreeze into trans or trans fluid into radiator

Not common, is it trans fluid leaking or antifreeze? Is it leaking out of where the the hoses connect or somewhere else?
