Hello all,
I just bought a 1962 F100 unibody but it doesn't have the inline six, it has a V8. I'm not very familiar with these trucks, did they come with a V8 as well and if so what size? It has a Holley 4 brl carb which I know isn't stock. Any info would be great. Thanks.
Welcome aboard; 1962 factory motors where 223 cid six cylinder & a 292 V-8 "Y block"; I'm sure our models beyond f100's came with different engines.
The biggest question for you would be whether your motor is with front engine mount or been modified with side engine perches!
Post your "vin" warranty data plate info; tag should be attached inside your glove box. Some one here will decode you proper oem stuff.
But 48 years things change over time.
