To start, where do you live? The central time zone covers a LOT of ground, are you sure you wanna travel up to 1,500 miles for a truck?

My dealer, Tousley Ford, is the largest dealer in the upper midwest. To search their inventory go to http://www.forddirect.com and use their zip of 55110. They have 13 2011 Super Duties on the lot.

In Ohio, Ricart Ford in Columbus is also one of the largest. 57 2011 Super Duties in stock! Search zip 43147.

Snow prep package gives you "computer selected" springs for snow plowing, a front axle capacity of 6000 lbs (on a 350) and a heavy duty alternator. There is no wiring harness that I know of.

X 2 on Woodhouse Ford. They are in Blair, Nebraska, 30 miles north of Omaha. I just looked at their inventory and they are showing 240 6.7 diesel trucks in stock. I bought mine from them last summer while I was working out there. Easiest new truck deal I ever made and I was 800 miles from home.

Does anybody have experience with Grand Prairie Ford in TX? They have a F-250 I want, but I have to fly to pick it up. Any suggestions and doing a deal over the phone?

Make your best deal and go get it...I have not regretted buying my truck 800 miles from home.

I made deal over the phone as well. I used X plan so it was a little easier than negotiating but see if you can get in touch with the fleet salesman. My credit union had relationships with most of the dealerships so that helps as well.
