While in search of a replacement truck, I have come across a 1996 F 250 Ext Cab, 8 ft bed. Truck is 4x4, automatic with 195,000 miles on it. There is rust on the bed, looks heavy from photos. I have yet to go look at it. The owner has to sell due to hardships. He also states it needs front U joints and possibly Glow plugs. He is asking 5700, but will go to 5000. To me this seems high with it needing work, and undoubtly having to work on the bed. What are your thoughts? Truck does have some basic mods, 3" down pipe, stage 1s possibly, and a Banks Transcommand.

Just remember that mods don't add value. Look up blue book on it and go from there.

I probably would start at $3000 if the rust is that bad and front end needs work.

I was pretty stout at the 3000 mark, I did my research, and all that jazz, and have been around vehicles and the market. I am also starting at 3000, and go from there. Just wanted to make sure i wasnt way too low.
