Fender less 56 f100

Has anyone ever seen a 56 ran fender less front and back kinda like a rat rod with a 30's type grill shell or something? I think that would look kinda cool . Cant find anything when i google search it so I was hoping somebody here had a picture from a past show or something to get me motivated on my build.

The cabs way too wide to look good fenderless. It just looks like someone stole your fenders!

nice comment fomoco1 one of the reasons i like 47-56 ford trucks are because they have those sweet big fat fenders,,,like a well shaped woman,,,i cant think of a fenderless f1 of f100

To be honest it is not my cup of tea either BUT it is not my truck and this person built it like they wanted it. So more power to them.

I think it is my F2 fenders that give my truck personality. Again that is my own opinon and my truck makes me happy which is what it all about, isn't it?????

I think bubba looks awesome. Allot of people dont like the term but the things people come up with just blows my mind. its like a work of art on wheels. Not some trailer queen that never gets driven because your afraid to get your chrome dirty.

Here are a few photos taken at the Redneck Rumble a year or so ago. Even though I love heavily modified vehicles, I don't think the F1 or F100 lends itself to the fender less look. If the body has the right mods, it might look ok. I hate to say it, but some of the rat rods appear to be built more for shock value than aesthetics. I've seen some really nice work done on some of these vehicles only to see them weld a set of barn door strap hinges on it, and it just ruins all of the otherwise quality work that has been done. Just my take on it. If the title is in your hands, you can do what you want.

I think these are all of the photos of fender less trucks that I took. I don't think my camera could take much more of the abuse.

Drew
