1984 transfer case shift pattern

Quick question fellas. What is the shift pattern for a 1984 f150 transfer case? My 1981 bronco is 2h/n/4h/4l but the 1984 seems to be different. Thanks in advance!

Feels like nuetral? will the truck move under its own power? it should be obvious if its in nuetral or not. I dont remember ever seeing a different shift pattern than shown above.

On my BW 1356, 2H is way far north of 4H. 4H, N, and 4L are clustered pretty close together.

Does the 4x4 light come on when you're in the "first" position? In the "first" position, you can hop under the truck and try to spin the front driveshaft. If it doesn't budge, you're in 4H. If it moves easily, you're either in 2H or neutral. Try to spin the rear driveshaft at that point, easy = N, won't budge = 2H.

This, of course, assumes you have manual front hubs and they're in the free position.

The transfer case is an NP208f . The tag on the front axle says 3.54, which I am assuming is the 8.8" and the rear end has no tag. Both have 10 bolts on the housings and the pan for the trans is a large square with a smaller square...no tags on it. Wish I could figure out how to post pics. The truck is an automatic with a 300 6cyl. Manual locking hubs which are free right now.

Front axle is a dana 44 ttb. Rear axle is code 19, which is a 3.55 ratio 8.8 Ford rearend. Trans code "K" is a c6 3 speed automatic.

I made the other photos thumbnails on purpose so they would load fast, thanks for the help! Figured the experts on here could identify right away no matter how small the pic. Thanks for the info...so the pattern on the np208 is 2H/4H/N/4L? Didn't seem right. From a little searching of these posts, sounds like the np208 set up with the 8.8" axle is not the best set up. I love the 300 6cyl with a 4x4 though, mild off road and hunting. My 1974 F100 2wd has a 351C (yes its a cleveland from a 1971 montego)built up to snap necks so I don't mind the slow and steady 84 when I go camping/hunting. Sure hope the C6 with the NP208 and 8.8 is somewhat tough...my F100 sure is.

Np208 and the 8.8 axle are plenty strong enough for normal use. The c6 is a very strong tranny. People say the np208 is the weaker of the transfer cases, but it has the 4 low higher gear ratio(slower speed) which is handy sometimes.
