Last winter I drove my XPl in some pretty good snows and it did great, but the only problem was being able to tell when the vehicle was actually in 4X4 going by the indicator lights on the dash.
Both the 4X4 and low range light are on most of the time and some times only one is lit up. I hear a clicking sound every time I hit the buttons and the lights never go on or off when doing so.
Could this be something as simple as a wiring problem ?

 

Does 4WD work in Hi and Lo?

 

I never had to use the 4X4 in low, so not sure !
Going by the indicator lights I never knew if I was in 4X4 or not and got stuck one night until I finally got it in four wheel drive !
