holley 500 on bronco?

I have a 1985 bronco with a 351. I am in the process of converting from fuel injection to carburetor. I have a holley 2bbl . Has anyone had any experience doing this or know anyone who has done this. I have the AOD trans. This carb worked great when I has it on an 82 f150 with a 302. Thanks for any feedback.

If you go to any carb calculation chart, it will tell you that a stock motor 351 CI will only require a carb of about 500-550 CFM. Alot of guys think bigger is better with the carb but thats bad news. You need something that will deliver the correct amount of fuel. I have a slighlty modified 351 with a 600cfm 4bbl and I had to lean it out with smaller jets...12% lean over stock over all. So, as long as you dont think you will need those extra barrels, that 500 CFM 2bbl will do great. You can also get ahold of 550 holleys and edelbrocks if you want those extra barrels.

Make sure you get the TV cable to the AOD hooked up right, then have a trans shop or a buddy that works at one set it correctly,or that trans will be short lived, BEEN THERE!
