P0299 low turbo boost ?

A few weeks ago I had this code appear with a CEL. It came on while at a gas station truck was sputtering just off idle . It ran fine on the road driving so I cleared the code all has been fine till tonight while plowing a parking lot It appeared again with the odd idle stumble that clears up with stabbing the throttle, but everytime I came to a stop and went from forward to reverse it stumbled almost like it wanted to stall out on me.So my question is could it be the turbo causing the just off idle stumble
Leaving the parking lot it ran fine all the way home .I will also add that plowing this lot is very low speed driving due to cars and other obsticles so not seeing much for rpm over 1500.

Pull the EGR valve and clean it. Also, unplug the EBP sensor and see if the problem "goes away". If it does then check the EBP sensor, wiring, and tube (for plugging). The EBP sensor on an 06 is mounted about halfway down the drivers side valve cover.

The motor uses a default strategy and, of course, you will have a constant CEL. You will also gain a P0470 because of unplugging the sensor. I wouldn't advise driving it long term with the sensor uplugged. It's there for a reason. Be sure and remove the metal tube and check it for obstructions.
