I installed super 44 on my 51 with the exhaust turned out in the running boards. A BIT NOISEY [ To who ever i pull up beside anyway.] Sounds good BUT can't sneek up on anyone.
My black lab won't ride in it when i first got it ,with the old Cherry booms. Guess i don't have to worry bout him messing up the wood bed CAUSE IT JUST AS LOAD with the 44's But sounds better i must say.

Did you install an x-pipe or a cross over pipe when you installed your exhaust? I've been told that especially with the x-pipe that the harshness of the exhaust note is much less. I don't know that for a fact yet, but I hope to soon find out. Side exhaust are loud, I've owned several corvettes that had header side pipes and you couldn't hear yourself think at 55 mph.
