Wheel spacers

Has anyone used wheel spacers? After installing a set of 31"x10.5" goodyear a/ts on the stock steel wheels of my 79 f100 2wd, the pass. side tire rubs when fully turned to the right. It is rubbing on the radius arm thing. I was thinking about maybe running 1" spacers all the way around. Any good wheel spacer reccomendations? Any input?

If only rubbing on the 1 side I would just check & adjust the steering. I have used & am currently using adapters & see no problem if needed & use Quality parts but most of the time good adapters & spacers are almost as much as new wheels.

Also forgot to mention that lots of tire shops will refuse to work on any vehicle with spacers/adapters for liability issues.

If only 1 side is hitting I would bet that the linkage is adjusted so it turns 1 way more than the other. Or if not the case may be able to locate the steering stops & adjust that a little bit. Should look like a bolt that the knuckle hits against to limit turning radius.
