And when you get caught you will have much more time for new ideas to save money. When caught the fine is more then what your truck is worth. If you really want to change the red dye color of fuel, put an ounce of 2 stroke oil in for each gal you want to run. In Pa. they don't use the stick method, they use a probe to check the residue in your tailpipe, the truck doesn't have to be running.

of my classes the other day when I was bored. But if someone really wanted to go through the trouble of running offroad diesel (and when fuel goes up like it did around the Katrina days, it may just be worth it), this would probably be your best solution (somebody may have already thought about it before, but as far as I go, it’s an original idea to me). I thought of 2 ways of being able to do it:


1) Pull your filler hose loose from the tank, extend it down a ways so that if you ever get dipped, it actually seems like they're going down into your tank, and then cap it off but with a way to undo it every once in a while. Once you cap it, fill it with a gallon or so of regular diesel. The reason I say to be able to make it so that you can undo it every once in a while is because you'll probably want to drain it and put new diesel in it about every 2 months or so. But then once you've done that, you can come up with a way to add another filler neck somewhere else "hidden" on the truck that is connected to the fuel tank and that is where you can pump offroad in. This is where I got hung up thought because I could not come up with a place that would that I just loved the idea of putting a filler neck there. The best place I could come up with is either right where the bed flattens out right above the fuel tank closest to the cab. I would probably try and rig it up just like the fuel door is now. I would probably line-x the fuel door so that it would blend into the bed pretty well. So this is probably the route I would go.


2) This is probably the easier solution in terms of how to be able to connect your new filler nozzle to the fuel tank. But what you could do is get an auxiliary fuel tank in your bed, for example the UWS transfer tanks that go in the bed of the truck. You could then drill a hole in the bottom of the tank and match it up with a hole in the bed of the truck, and run a tube from that tank to your fuel tank under the truck. This would probably not be the route I would go simply because I have a regular tool box and don't want to eat up my bed space with a fuel tank. However, it would definitely have it's advantages. You could increase your fuel capacity tremendously! If you got the 75 gallon tank, your truck would then be holding at least 105 gallons if not more. You could drive on that for about 2,000 miles. Also, your way of scheming offroad would be more undetectable, because no one would think anything about putting offroad diesel in one of those because that's what they're made for.



So anyways, just a thought. If I get extra bored one day and am feeling a little creative, I might try it out. But I would definitely love to see someone try it.
You know that people who evade the road taxes or for that matter any taxes just hurt the rest of us who pay them! All it does is just increase the tax load onto those who are honest! This is probably something you don't want to post onto the internet?
I hate taxes and think we should be taxed less, but that aint right.

What part of the country do you live in??? Probably lots of eyes watching you now!

Seriously this thread is about how to break state and federal laws AND you have signed up about how you would do it so any law agency that wants to take the trouble (you know like the IRS) can just back check who you are and come to your house knowing how you are doing it.

It's like any other criminal, they all think they are smarter then the law. Ok so you save a few bucks, do you knwo that if it is the federal IRS that comes after you, you can lose your truck, your house and your freedom. Yep that is worth it.

You don't have to like the laws but you do have to obey them. Anything else is just a degradation of society.

And anything else I have to say about it needs to be put in the club.

You know what I find amusing is that some of the people that damn what is being discussed in this thread(which I also damn), but they would have no problem with defrauding Ford on warranty work, which is also an illegal action. Or telling people how to go about tricking ford into doing warranty work on their vehicle when there is a good chance that it was the owner's fault.

I just find that amusing.

I'm not trying to to start any junk here, but I have a comment on the direction this thread is going.

Talk about calling the kettle black. Breaking the law is breaking the law, that goes for everyone with a punched out cat or an EGR delete or an offroad only intake "including myself".

Personally I don't run off-road fuel, but I am not going to jump on my high horse and preach at this guy for not abiding by the laws or posting about it.

This thread is just as legitimate as any other thread that talks about any of our mods that have legality issues.

Thanks Tex and hubler for at least halfway taking up for me. And to everyone else, I tried posting this earlier but it wouldn't let me, so here it is again:

Look, the whole thread started because I see posts all the time about how people want to find a way to be able to run offroad undetected. I just thought about it one day and start thinking about ways to do this...not trying to break the law, just trying to solve a problem (what us youngsters are taught in school...to be innovative). Trust me, I love this country and all of our freedoms and agree totally with the tax system. I'm actually working right now on getting a job in federal law enforcement. I'm about as loyal to this country as one can be. This thread has been taken WAY too seriously. I just thought my idea was somewhat of a cool one, but apparently someone has interpreted it to be some sort of assassination plot. The comments later comments about it being about tax evasion was just sarcastic jokes in reply to earlier comments. DAMN!

And now for the point I was trying to get across about justifying saving costs on fuel. Yes it is breaking the law, but what should be even more illegal is for the oil companies to nearly double their price because the weather channel predicts a hurricane MIGHT be heading towards one of their rigs. The I don't see how the gov't can justify coming after me for trying to find ways to get by in an economy Barack Hussein Bin Laden keeps driving farther and farther in a hole, but when somebody whose profiting several billions a year jacks their price up because they MIGHT lose one or two million, if the weather man PREDICTED right. If that's not a monopoly I don't know what the hell is. Now I believe the hippies during the 60's and 70's were idiots...but at least they knew how to stand up for things the believed in and boycott and protest things and didn't care the consequences, and weren't like the panzies of American society today who believe they have to conform to every little thing the gov't tells them to.
I need to stop listening to Rage Against The Machine.

I dont do it, so I dont care. in m opinion, it just doesnt pay. However, nobody here should be badmouthing anybody about this topic

Add to that the irony that those systems aren't the HP robbing systems that they are believed to be. I'm still able to make over 500HP with those systems fully functioning and in stock form.

Now I will admit that the exhaust surrounding the cat isn't stock, but it isn't an off-road exhaust either.
