I had 97 psd supercab. i swaped the engine and tranny into a 92 idi dually crew cab.

Good job, did it go pretty smooth or was there some major headaches like the wife wanting you to get in the house and do some honey do's???

when iam doing something as involved as an engine/tranny swap, she tends to leave me alone. but it was as simple as pulling it out of one truck and bolting it in another. keep in mind i had both trucks side by side, no hunting for parts. i did have to adapt a little bit of wiring for the extra power door locks, dome light switches and keyless entry, but no big deal. the 92's dont have power windows in the rear, so one less headache.

That's awesome! I do a million sit-ups and get up and down for her BS! I guess the advantage is that it keeps me young and fit! Mentally, now that's a different story.
