Automatic to Manual Hub Conversion Questions

What do I need to do to make this conversion happen on my 1992 F-150? Do I just need to pull the automatic hubs out and put the manuals in or what? Is there some sort of conversion I need to do?

If your autos have 5 screws holding them on, just a direct swap.

yup, what dave said. remember to plug up the vacuum lines too, or you will loose your heater controls.

took him 42 hours? only took me 5 minutes. he must not know about the rolling them in flour and poking the wet spot trick.

heavy construction.
we milled and paved a bank wed night, i babysat a concrete crew thursday day, then did another bank thursday night, and had to do an emergency road rebuild and pave friday day after a water main break.

with the old company 24 and 36 hour days were normal.
this new company does not like to work more than 8 on and 16 off.
but there are times when the crews are short staffed, and i was asked to help out because i am still used to doing extra long days.
