Mornin' all...
Jarod17 - Glad to hear it's workin' better and you cleared the codes. How long was it running when you noticed the miss or hesitation at top end? The computer takes a while to adjust. When I redid some stuff on my Cobra and it had to "remap" itself, it took about 30 min or normal/easy driving before it was correct. After that it was good to go.
I'm getting ready to go up to get all the clutch parts and I'm going to tear into my F150 today and replace the clutch. It'll probably take a couple of days. I always seem to get hung up somehow. But my goal is to get that flywheel out in time to get it machined before they close for the day. The hardest part I had last time is because of the starter and the exhaust, but that was in my Cobra and it was really close quarters. I'm praying my F150 is a bit more open and I can get to all the bolts fairly easily (especially the trans to block bolts).
Well...off I go!

Good Evening Nevada. Michelle it looks like Vici & I are Yuma bound. She was offered a teaching position in Yuma pending her reference being checked. So it appears we will be heading to Yuma in a few weeks. we reserved an RV space there today.

Good evening everyone. I REALLY need a garage. It it raining and supposed to rain all week here. So much for getting any work done on my truck.
Mat, I drove 110 miles and I still get the hesitation on the top end. It does go away if I turn off the overdrive. I suspect the transmission as the computer is still showing the coast clutch solenoid code. Rather than pony up $450 for a new solenoid pack I am going to get a new clutch kit, hydraulic line, and clutch pedal assembly, and put a ZF5 in the truck.
