'78 Supercab with A/C-setting up to plow?

My S-Cab is factory A/C, some previous owner disabled the A/C to mount a plow pump in the compressor location. anyone out there running a plow AND A/C? only way I can think of is to do a MinuteMount or similar but I already have all the old style stuff. I'd love a V plow but cant afford that right now.Ideas?

You can always swap it out as the seasons call for. I have a Fisher Speedcast plow setup but no AC So I cant picture how it`s setup. My plow pump sits right above the power steering pump and the belt runs off a pulley that bolts onto the center of the crank.

Thats the setup I have now. The pump is mounted right where the A/C compressor is supposed to be.It sucks the compressor didnt come with the truck. I need to look at some different plow setups to see pump mounting options. I really need to sit down and make a plan for this truck so I dont end up doing stuff twice. Im seriously considering doing the cummins swap which,i assume, will change all my accessory mountings.Im also not entirely sure I want to mount a plow on this truck, being a S-cab longbed manuvering is going to be a PITA.

You can do 1 of 2 things, you can get a SHEP pump that goes on the head gear (electric pump with ram), or you can get a monarch electric pump that goes under the hood. I had one of those on my 79 F150 and had set it up to turn the pump on anytime I moved the control.

just install a western or myers electric/hydraulic plow pump/lift ram...I had both set ups on my fords, sold 1 fisher and a western set up and still have 1 fisher and 2 myers set ups ...seems like there is less 'issues' w/ the total hydraulic as in no solenoid problems, but I like my a/c in the off season
