aux input

I just picked up an '06 F150 FX4 that has the cd-6 stereo. It has an "aux" button on the radio. Is there some adaptor that i can purchase so i can plug in my MP3 player? I dont use ipods, so don't need the controls for that, just need a 3.5mm input.....

It's called a PIE adapter. I recently removed the one from my truck because I installed a Pioneer AVH-p3200 with Nav. They run about $100 plus shipping.

Thats right about what i paid for mine when i was going to use it. Mine is brand new never used as i put in an after market radio instead. let me know if your interested in it.
