Outside air vent whistle.

As the title says, I have a whistle coming when my climate controls are set to outside air, and it immediately goes away once you go to the cabin air (recirculating). Any ideas for a quick fix?

There is a tsb for this. Is it at a certain temperature? Mine makes more of a whooshing noise that is changed by the wind direction-this is just a design flaw as it was like this on my 07 and 08.

Not really temp dependant. It did it during a warm day and during a freezing morning.

Is it like a whooshing sound or a constant whistle? Try moving the vents into fully open position also.

mine does this too...if I switch to "in car air" it goes away.

Let me know what you find out. My Expy has a bunch of noises when I run the air. I think I have a few problems I need to get fixed, even the flapper valve I beleive it is called.
