Tuning Info for 67 F100

I am looking for general tuning infor for a 67 F100. I was given the followin info on USENET.

point gap-.017
dwell 26/31
plug gap-.034
timing-6 degrees btdc

I'm assuming the "dwell 26/31" means 26-31 degrees?

Thanks!

Tuning Info for 67 F100

Sorry, It's the engine, not the style of truck that's important.

Which engine?

352

Those specs sound about right for a 352 or a 390.

I forgot to ask, what about the rpm for the dwell and timing? What rpms are those specs valid for?

The engine is a 352, 4 bbl.

Thanks.

My guess

Timing
Auto > 550rpm in Drive Parking brake on
Man > 600 rpm

Vacuum advance disconnected and plugged.

Your best adjusting dwell to the center values.

I forget if when the points wear down, the dwell changes higher or lower.
(It's been a while)

Maybe someone can chime in with that info.

Thanks for everyone's help! I tuned it up this weekend and it's running great! I had to repair/readjust the choke cable assembly to get the butterfly to close when pulling the cord. Now it's running real sweet! Thanks again
