How can you tell true mileage?

You only have 5 digits eh?
Unless service records came with the truck, or carfax or something like that, theres really no way to tell.
And personally I wouldn't just guess about mileage just by condition of the truck. I've seen trucks that look like they got 400+km when they acually only have 150something.
My new 88 F150 is a damn good exemple of that...
I've seen some really high mileage trucks that look brand new!
We can't really cheat here in Canada with our Kilometers, we had 6 digit odometers since the early 80's. Can always disconnect the speedo cable, but not even worth it.
