How can you tell true mileage?

My truck says it has about 130,000 miles on it but i kind of just wonder some times, is there a way to tell if it has 130,000 or 230,000 miles on it, i dont need a exact meashurement just wanting a rough estemate .

You only have 5 digits eh?

Unless service records came with the truck, or carfax or something like that, theres really no way to tell.

And personally I wouldn't just guess about mileage just by condition of the truck. I've seen trucks that look like they got 400+km when they acually only have 150something.

My new 88 F150 is a damn good exemple of that...

I've seen some really high mileage trucks that look brand new!

We can't really cheat here in Canada with our Kilometers, we had 6 digit odometers since the early 80's. Can always disconnect the speedo cable, but not even worth it.
