Ok why did someone strap springs to my rear axle?

Probably some of that " Yankee Ingenuity" we hear so much about. Could also be TSA regulations incase your rear end drops out it will bounce over the car or other vehicle behind you. Better check for recalls. I definately know it is not one of Fords "Better Ideas".

I think they are shock absorbing tail hooks so you can land on a aircraft carrier!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
