Fuel Leak 01 7.3L PSD
I have a fuel leak on my 01 F-250 7.3L PSD and I think it is coming from around the fuel filter housing. The valley on the top of the motor has fuel on it and it looks like it is running off the back of the motor. It only leaks when it is cold ( 35 and below ). During the summer it did not leak, just wondering if anyone has had this problem and if so what it where it might be coming from. I have looked all over and can't find it. Any help will be appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

I just had the same problem. Its probably coming from your fuel bowl drain thats where mine was leaking from.
You'll want to take off your drain and flip the o-rings around and snug it up nice and tight and see if that fixes it. If so you need new o-rings for the drain. Which you can get from Guzzle.

Check your water seperator valve, I just replaced mine but it was leaking down the fuel drain. In the cold weather the plastic and aluminium expand and contract at different rates your fuel filter bowl might be cracked as well. check this site out I found it really helpfull. Welcome to guzzle's Ford PSD Maintenance Web Page

Yeah thats it. Has four screws on the side of it, I believe there #20 torx heads.
Just need to drain the bowl, remove the bowl drain hose, pull out the screws take the drain off and use a pick to pull out the 2 o-rings and turn them around and reassemble.
DO NOT try to remove the o-rings that are in the fuel bowl itself, just the ones on the drain.
When I did mine I also removed the leads on my gpr, and the wires the hook to the intake Y, and the AIH as well I think. Just to make it easier to get in there. Its a perty tight fit especially if you have big hands. Also have an extend-o-magnet thing handy for when you drop everything down into the engine V! haha
