I'll guess NO because the listing says "Gas engine ONLY."

But I'll let someone else chime in for a more definite answer.

what makes these things rot out faster than anything else on the truck? i have the typical fender rust but my rad support is pretty much junk.... other than that no real rust just seems odd

No it's not deep enough to fit the radiator. LMC truck parts has them. I think they're around 190.00.

I think someone said that LMC doesn't have them, it's a typo in their catalogue/website they've yet to fix.....best to call them to find out for sure.

I am building a new one for my 86 out of 3/16" steel.
Course the 86 diesel core support has been non existant for several years.

I know we have a couple of them at my work (I work at a junk yard). We don't keep rusty or bent stuff, so they are in good shape.

When I am done, there will be a couple extra features.

Room for both ram air and an intercooler while still leaving room for my plow hitch.

I found a coupe used here locally, but then I would be right back where I am now.
Ram air, no intercooler because of my plow hitch.

I know I can move the radiator enough, and the supports inside enough that I can get both ram air and an intercooler if I give it enough thought when I put it together.

I figure on building one myself when i get around to replacing my core support. Their isnt much left of my current one. It really depends on how im feeling when it comes time lol. Might jus get some fresh steel and rebuild the remains of the old one....

About all I plan on reusing is the headlight mount sheet metal and where the hood latch mounts.
Everything around the radiator and where it attaches to the frame, new design.
Both supports on each side of the radiator, where it currently mounts, completely different.
