I recently changed injector o-rings and also the turbo pedestal o rings due to a rather large skip that was developing over time. That skip is gone and now a new "lesser" skip has developed. If I mash on the throttle it clears out (unlike before injector o-ring replacement). I'm leaning towards the CPS... i have read things about that going bad. Right after I changed the injectors I did a injector buzz test and it passed. But with the truck running cylinder 8 was showing up a missfire. I am not sure what that is all about. If anyone has had this problem, give me a few ideas on what to tackle first.

Trying a new/different CPS is easy, so try that. If that doesn't help I'd check the UVCH. Since you were just under the valve covers, you could have bumped one of the connections putting it back together.
