police raptor!!

was crusin near worland wyoming and got passed by a police truck raptor. thought it was kinda cool. Glad I wasn't speeding. Just thought I'd drop a note on the truck.

Seems like the border patrol just special ordered at least ten of them for use in Arizona.

Ya but like every other Government est. the driver door says supervisor on it!?!?!? I mean really? How much is a supervisor gonna do out in the field? Maybe im way off base here buy i gotta kick out of it.

If anyone here watches IRT on history channel, the Alaska DOT has one also.

this is a joke. here in az all they do is bitch **** moan about no funding. wanting tax increases...... lets just buy 10 raptors priced att 50+ k each..not to mention all the extra equipment.....
but give us more cash...

Do you realize that they bought stripped down versions at the fleet price which is not 50k, If I had to guess I would guess 40k which is right about normally what they pay for Crown vics and less than Tahoes.

wasnt looking for any arguments or debates... just a moment of frustration.
some things dont make since tome i guess.. jusss sooooo many ways to save money in this department. and they buy new raptors..
awsome trucks. just a shame

Up here they cruise around in lifted crew cab diesel F350 FX4s. At least they aren't buying toyotas.

Great point, more govt excess. The "terrorism" label has allowed the waste of resources to reach crazy levels.

Worse is all the equipment ($250 M planes) that the Pentagon doesn't want, doesn't work right in the conditions but the politicians know better and ram it thru Congress anyway. Way too long of a list of Gov. waste.
